Water Fun

With Reynolds Creek running all year round it provides the perfect spot for water fun.

SWIMMING is a must in the warmer Summer months or you can relax and float along with the current while time passes by. Perhaps you'd prefer to soak up the sun while lying on our rock wall, or swing from the edge and into the water.

PADDLE the creek in your own canoe or hire one from Yarramalong for $5/hr.

FISHING: utilise the idyllic fishing holes and relax to the sound of the flowing creek while you catch Bass for your dinner. Other fishing spots are available on the Lake.

Local platypus can be spotted at dusk along the water's edge and at the Lake. Spot the other wildlife from snakes, possums, koalas, while staying at Yarramalong. You might even like to check out the wallabies or try to find a phascogayle.

And with 110 species of birds to identify, bird lovers will have their work cut out. Please remember, the wildlife is just that - wild life, we are encroaching on their natural habitat so please be mindful of them.

With a plethora of bush walking tracks in the area, there is no shortage of spots to stretch the legs for an idle stroll, or to challenge yourself on the more energetic climb to the peak of Mt Edwards for panoramic views of Fassifern Valley and more.

WHILE EXPLORING the Scenic Rim, don't forget to visit the Governor's Chair, the Gorges of Mt Greville, The Head or the glorious Lake Moogerah.

Our recreation hall has table tennis and a pool table available for use. A volleyball net can easily be set up to allow a game on our oval if you feel like burning some energy. Alternatively, bring your own equipment to play on our oval, or bikes for exploring the local area.

We can also provide tree climbing and flying fox adventure but advance bookings are essential to ensure Instructors are onsite.
